The falconers

Sally J. Knight

Founder, Naturalist & Falconer
Originally from Northern California, Sally moved to Arizona in 1994. She inherited her love of animals from both of her parents. Instead of watching The Waltons or Happy Days she was watching Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom with Marlin Perkins and Jim Fowler. She had crawdads, praying mantis, butterflies, lizards, snakes, fish, bunnies, cats, dogs, birds, hamsters, mice, guinea pigs, scorpions, frogs, toads, tortoise, turtles… the list goes on and on.

Tiffany M. White

Founder, Master Falconer
Tiffany is a former fisheries biologist for the State of Florida. That’s where her love affair with falconry began. After seeing a fellow biologist fly her American Kestrel she was hooked. She read every book she could about falconry and birds of prey and attended her first falconry meet 3 months later. Within 6 months she had her permit and first bird, a spirited red tail hawk she named Nietzsche. She moved to and fell in love with Arizona in 2005.
